Paa 2009 - Emotionally touchy

This above text really holds true when you listen to the melodious wonder from Ilayaraja in his composition to the 2009 Bollywood film "Paa".

All the songs in the album are situational and carry the Ilayaraja mark tunes. Though a variant, the 3 instances of this tune sound like the Telugu song "Raagam rasamaya vedamai... pada sanchaaramulanu salupaga". This Telugu song was originally sung by Ilayaraja during a Jaya TV musical festival which ran for almost 2 weeks in Chennai. It was composed with only 3 notes.

"Gum sum Gum" song from Paa is a direct match of the old Telugu song "Aakasam Ae naatodo".
Amitabh also sung a song in this movie which is very touchy with emotional lyrics.

Finally, Ilayaraja has proven that he is a "genius", once again.
